This is the 3rd of three in the altered postcard series. These are vintage Japanese postcards, circa late 50s / early 60s. Blocked out the creatures with white paint and the worked over the top with colored pencils.

This was something I'd actually started a long time ago. One of those pieces that sits around the studio looking at me with disapproving eyes wondering 'when will I be finished?'. Today is the Day. And not the crappy band.
I should've taken some process shots for the final steps, but I forgot. Some colored pencil and watercolor pencil to shade the head and neck. Big 'ol Pilot marker for the text.
