ain't from around here zine This is another contribution to the zine that I'd mentioned a few posts back. The theme of the next issue is: "We're Not From Around Here." This is the same size as the last and it's pencil, sharpie and ballpoint pen. Nothin fancy, just a drawering.

And remember I mentioned a few weeks that I'd been spending alot of time working out a composition I liked for this line of text?

Well this is the finished version of that text.

horror art zine So here's something. This is a drawing that I made as a contribution to a black & white DIY zine. The theme was "horror." It turned out that a lot of the people contributing are from AUS with a few Americans and Europeans in the mix as well. I love those international projects, ya know?

This is A6 in size (which is a measurement we don't really use here in the US). That breaks down to a quarter of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper or 105x148mm. That's pretty small. I used a combination of black ballpoint pen and acrylic for this- a combination I quite like it would seem. Here's an un-cropped peek at the drawing.

Hmmm. What else... Hangman on drawer sold to someone in the gulf in New Orleans.
