-I sprayed an alternate version of the Screamer stencil on the back of a friend's jacket. There's a little marker work within it, too. That's over on the right.
-a pen sketch on part of a shredded interview sheet.
-there was a show at Orchard Street Gallery in NY at the end of September that I was part of. There were around 150 pieces by street artists from around the world featured in the show. From what the show organizer said: " it was the biggest opening in the history of the gallery. Hundreds of people over the course of 3 hours." Here's a pic from the show- you can see a version of my Girl with Gun on the left, top row.
I leave for San Francisco on Sunday. Not sure when I'll post next, but hopefully it won't be too long. Next post from the West Coast...

Revision is the word of the week. I finished the second LP for my submission to the VK3 show. It's the last Corset Girl ever. The stencil was finally too gunked up and her time had come- she was cut. This was done over a built up textured background which was then knocked back down with a light spray of white. The red edge around the rekkid is meant to mimic the interior floating circles. This went out with the Noose / Hangman record (check a few post down)- so if you're in Seattle go check out the show when it opens next month.

I also decided to bring more 'finish' to the series that I'd been working on (see last post). I felt like these ACEOs needed to be pushed a bit further than where I'd left them. Here's what happened to card one of four.I intend to do the same to the others, but haven't gotten there as of yet. Sure the stencil is almost completely gone now, but I know it's under there and so do you. It will be like a secret handshake or something. Do we really care what everyone else thinks? right. More acrylics and pen.
Possibly one more Chicago-based post to come...
