I finished the poster that I was working on for the Process Invisible 2 show happening in Portland. It contains a nice amount of layering and of course I left alot of my process visible as I am always inclined to do. I just realized the irony. Well hopefully my work finds someone that doesn't mind it's visible process. So yeah, this nearly 40 x 60 inches.
Her head was finished with acrylics.

Here's a detail.
:Top 5 CDs this week:
1: the Methadones- "career objective"
2: Stars- "set yourself on fire"
3: Johnny Cash- "16 hits"
4: Tapes and Tapes- "the loon"
5: Erasure- "pop!"

I'm probably going to go out of order on a few projects that I've been working on over the next few posts. Allow me to skip around a bit. That's really how I work on things though: about three or four projects at once. So last post I was working on that extra-large poster for the paste-up show at Street Level Gallery.
Yup. Still got that going.
Started the drawing for the third postcard in the series of the manipulated Japanese postcards from awhile back. Here's that drawing.

Carly was nice enough to do some research and find out what pink monster on drawer was saying. In Chinese, he say something along the lines of:
"the suffering civilian is judging the government who all became grafter."
Yeah the pink monster know.
:Top 5 CDs this week:
1: the Rakes- "s/t"
2: Oxford Collapse- "a good ground"
3: Minus the Bear- "menos el oso"
4: Sloan- "smeared"
5: Mock Orange- "the record play"
